Kevin Davies, 62, was rushed to Hamad General Hospital, in Doha, where he later died.
Tributes have been paid to a Wales supporter who died in Qatar after travelling there for the World Cup. The Welsh FA named the fan as Kevin Davies.
It's understood Mr Davies didn't attend the 2-0 defeat but instead remained at his apartment after feeling ill. Top news stories today Officials believe more than 2,500 Wales supporters have made the trip to Qatar for the tournament.
