Vietnamese restaurant to take over site of Northern Quarter diner after closure due to 'soaring costs'
A popular Vietnamese restaurant is relocating to the Northern Quarter and taking over the site formerly occupied by a vegan diner.
From V Rev to Vnam, the new location will serve up the same popular dishes as the previous site - from steaming bowls of Pho and chicken and prawn summer rolls bursting with fresh flavours. The Ancoats favourite is also loved for it speciality coffee - a Vietnamese drip coffee served with or without condensed milk, which is a delicacy in Vietnam.
"This will be our very last weekend open at our current restaurant so don’t miss out and BYOB. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family and invite them along for the final weekend. While many will welcome the news of Vnam moving into the Northern Quarter, fans of former occupant V Rev were sad to see it close its doors in September. The venue announced the news just days after announcing reduced opening hours in a bid to make the venue work financially.
