The cards were issued earlier this year to people on low incomes to spend on businesses within Glasgow.While most have been activated, there are thousands still to be registered to allow them to be used. The total worth of the unactivated cards is £793,800, which could be spent in hundreds of shops and businesses that are signed up to the scheme.Local businesses and supermarkets who joined the scheme have benefited from millions of pounds in spending.
