Experts from Poland have said that the outbreak of Legionnaires' disease, a severe form of pneumonia, could have come from unused plumbing due to high temperatures.
An urgent health warning has been issued to look out for the symptoms of the deadly Legionnaires' disease.
Health officials are still searching for the source of the germs, as the number of cases reach "unprecedented" levels in the region. Around 10,000 US troops and 400 British soldiers are stationed in the area, but most of the deaths from the disease have come from elderly people who also suffered from health issues like cancer.
