Police are appealing for dashcam footage
Police have issued an urgent appeal after a person was raped in Rossendale in the early hours of Saturday morning .
Lancashire Constabulary are investigating an incident which occurred on Manchester Road, Haslingden. Officers have issued an appeal for witnesses, and anyone with dashcam footage from the area. Specifically, they are looking for footage recorded between the hours of 1.19am and 1.50am. This could be crucial to the investigation if anyone was travelling between Dalesford and Beech Drive on Manchester Road.A spokesperson from Lancashuire Constabulary said: "Detectives investigating a rape which occurred on Manchester Road, Haslingden in the early hours of Saturday, April 8, are appealing for dash cam footage to assist with their investigation.
"We are appealing to any drivers with dashcam footage, travelling between Dalesford and Beech Drive on Manchester Road, Haslingden between the hours of 01:19 – 01:50 On April 8 to come forward."
