Al tram services across Nottingham have been suspended this morning, Thursday, August 17, due to a "communications fault". Commuters will be able to use their tickets on East Midlands Railway and Nottingham City Transport services.
NET announced it would not be running any services at 6.28am and said: "We currently still have a communication fault which has resulted in no service this morning. We currently have ticket acceptance on the NCT and EMR services." It comes after NET first delayed its services at 6am due to the issue. At 6.08am it apologised for any inconvenience and said: "Disruption. Due to a communication fault we currently have delays across the system.
"NET apologise for any delays this may cause to your journey." Those who were planning to travel by tram this morning should allow extra time for their journey, with the closest bus stops to each tram stop listed on the NET website.NET is yet to issue any further updates on the situation. It is still not yet known when trams will be running again.
