The Windrush Generation Legacy Association event set to commemorate the 61st anniversary of Jamaica's Independence
Beginning August 5, 2023 and hosted by The Windrush Generation Legacy Association , the festivities kick off at midday, promising a day filled with fully-fledged fun and games like no other. In the Caribbean, dominoes evolved into various regional variations, each with its own set of rules and customs.
Today, the game remains a cherished tradition, continuing to bring joy and camaraderie to the people of the Caribbean, while also attracting tourists and visitors who wish to experience its cultural significance firsthand.Those attending this years Dominoes Legacy Fun event will also be encouraged to share and listen to stories from past generations, bringing history, heritage and legacy to the present day.
