Trepang Studios has announced that its gory horror FPS Trepang2 will launch on Xbox Series X|S in October, ready for a blood-soaked Halloween.
Dodging enemies, wielding high-caliber weaponry, and generally causing as much carnage as possible looks to be the flavor of the day in Trepang2, and you'll be able to play it on Xbox Series X|S on October 2.
"A spiritual successor to the fast-paced and over-the-top first-person shooters of the mid-2000s, Trepang2 pairs high-octane, first-person gun-fu gameplay with a devastating heavy metal soundtrack, as players embark on a supernatural journey of death, destruction, and corporate conspiracies." You play as a superhuman soldier on a revenge mission after breaking out of a government black site. You'll have a full arsenal of weapons to wield, both ranged and melee, as you slaughter hordes of cultists, special forces operatives, and otherworldly beings. Campaign and horde modes will be available, offering you plenty of opportunities to try out the special abilities that are on offer, such as invisibility, otherworldly strength, and more.
