Russia appears to have adopted a new approach to protecting its warplanes - using car tyres. Meanwhile, in the UK, the Wagner Group is set to be officially declared a terrorist organisation - with an order set to be presented to parliament tomorrow.

The Russian defence ministry has claimed it has downed yet another drone over its territory this evening.

Once passed, the order will mean that it is illegal to be a member of or to support the Wagner Group.Home Secretary Suella Braverman said:"Wagner is a violent and destructive organisation which has acted as a military tool of Vladimir Putin's Russia overseas." Mr Voyger said Russia attempting to portray to its citizens that it's capable of taking down"sophisticated systems" shows how"desperate" it is"in the face of several dozens of tanks from the UK and other countries".Defected Russian helicopter pilot to be handed $500,000 reward - report

Mr Kuzminov told a news conference in Kyiv of the risky operation which involved flying the Mi-8 helicopter from Russia to Ukraine. The International Rescue Committee said it is preparing for fewer donations towards its operations in Ukraine as the conflict rages on.
