Consistent drone attacks seemingly carried out by Ukraine on Russian soil or deep into its occupied territories has begun to sow discontent in the Russian information space, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

President Zelenskyy has arrived in the Danish capital and has spoken to members of the parliament there, following Copenhagen's landmark commitment to hand over highly prized F-16 jets to Kyiv. He began his speech this morning by saying:"We're here to say thank you, personally. Thank all of you for helping us in our fight, difficult fight for freedom. For helping us in this war which Russia brought to our land.

The man allegedly collected and passed on information regarding the movement of troops across checkpoints on the front line near Kramatorsk. suggests that, even if the aircraft are delivered quickly, the"phenomenally capable aircraft" will take the Soviet jet-trained Ukrainian pilots time to truly master. "Trying to learn how to operate Western aircraft [is] completely different [to Soviet-era jets].

The news agency did not explicitly link the airport restrictions with the downed drone and Ukraine is yet to comment on suggestions it sent the drone earlier this morning. The MoD's intelligence suggests that Russia is likely aiming to free up more experienced units to fight in key areas, with a"realistic possibility that this has led to the recent re-deployment of airborne forces from Kherson to the heavily contested Orikhiv sector". In case you missed it, Ukraine will receive 42 F-16 jets in a major win for Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after Denmark and the Netherlands both agreed to supply Kyiv with aircraft.

Russian security services have told Vladimir Putin to fire defence minister Sergei Shoigu to allow him to implement a full mobilisation of the Russian people to fight in Ukraine, according to a report by Bloomberg.
