Ukraine says Russian drones have fallen in Romania following a three-hour barrage of cities on its border - but Romania denies the claims; Russia's use of elite troops to defend the south is a sign something is going wrong for its army, a Ukrainian official says.
Romania's defence ministry has denied reports that Russian drones fell in its territory.
A Ukrainian industry source also told Reuters that two Russian drones had fallen on the Romanian side of the Danube.
