Experts have warned that the UK could see the hottest July on record as temperatures continue to rise and the government issue a level three heat-health alert for the south east

There’s no two ways about it, the UK is hot - and it’s only going to get warmer as experts previously warned that temperatures could reach 40C.

One expert did reveal that the heatwave could fizzle out in the next eight to nine days and with it will come thunderstorms. “Temperatures will likely be above average for most, especially in the south, with the potential for it to be hot across England and Wales.” Steven Keates, a Met Office forecaster, said: “We’re in for a real rollercoaster which may take people by surprise.
