Ubisoft has showed off 10 minutes of Star Wars Outlaws gameplay.
The gameplay shows protagonist Kay Vess sneaking through an underworld base. She’s able to use her small alien friend Nix to solve puzzles and distract enemies. Once Kay’s discovered, the game shifts to a third-person action affair. Players can use Nix in combat too.The player is then seen escaping into the game’s open world on a speeder bike, while being pursued by raiders.
The demo concluded with the player getting in their ship and transitioning seamlessly into a space battle against Empire forces. “Experience the first-ever open-world Star Wars game, set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi,” Ubisoft said when the game was revealed. “Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix.
