Raymond Galligan looks set to be appointed as the new Cavan manager after he was recommended for the position by the county’s management committee on Wednesday night.
His backroom team will include Tyrone legend Stephen O’Neill as well as former Meath All-Ireland ladies winning manager Eamonn Murray. O'Neill has previously worked as a forwards coach with Antrim under former boss Enda McGinley and also with his native county under Mickey Harte. Graham opted not to see out the final year of his tenure with Galligan one of three candidates interviewed for the role.
