Clubcard shoppers who use the app to collect and spend points should make a simple switch before April 18.

Tesco shoppers will have two weeks to download a revamped Clubcard app as the current one is set to close completely.

As reported by the Mirror, the current app allows users to scan a digital version of their Tesco Clubcard in stores and where they can collect points and vouchers. Shoppers will be able to pay, view their points balance, spend Clubcard vouchers, order deliveries and check stock in stores on the new application.

However, customers are advised to download the new app if they use the current version, and will be able to do so for free via Google Play and the App Store.
