The competition officially launches again on Wednesday
McDonald’s opened two pop-ups to hand out free fries and give members of the public the chance to win a number of prizes including TUI holidays worth £2,000. The event was in celebration of Monopoly returning to McDonald’s restaurants on Wednesday, September 6.
Poppy Whittaker took her turn in the McDonald’s dome in London where she had to catch as many flying peelies as possible and won a TUI holiday worth £2,000. Poppy said: “I was just walking to the station where I saw all these people and thought why not. The dome was so much fun, and I didn’t expect to win an actual holiday, especially with Joey Essex handing me the prize…it’s made my week.”
Following this first big win, McDonald’s set up their dome to seek out more lucky winners for various prizes. Ahamad Vafaei, was captured celebrating his amazing win of a TUI Holiday. He said: “I was just out shopping and thought I’d give it a go. I didn’t think I’d ever win. It’s a dream come true; I’d love to go to Italy.”
