Michael O'Neill has handed debuts to Brad Lyons and Eoin Toal

Brad Lyons and Eoin Toal were handed their senior Northern Ireland debuts in Tuesday night's Euro qualifier against Slovenia.

Bolton Wanderers defender Toal was given the nod by Michael O'Neill following an injury to Dan Ballard.Read more: Stephen Kenny offers terse response to scathing criticism from Didi HamannO'Neill has made three changes to the side that won at the weekend, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell coming in for Conor Hazard.

Trai Hume and Jamal Lewis line up beside captain Jonny Evans and Toal in defence, while Lyons partners Shea Charles and Jordan Thompson in midfield, with an unchanged attacking line of Paul Smyth, Josh Magennis and Dale Taylor.Their only wins in the current campaign came against San Marino, with O'Neill's side suffering defeats in their other five games.
