The shocking scene was discovered around 8.40pm on Sunday night in suburban Illinois.

Investigators have released few details about the suspect, who remains at large. They have not indicated there is a danger to the public, and have not issued a shelter-in-place order for the small‘Due to the timeframe that has gone by, more than 18 hours from the time we were contacted, we are not asking anybody to shelter in place,’ Deputy Chief Burne said.
He continued: ‘We are not actively looking for anybody in the area, but we do always ask our residents to have a good sense of self-awareness and to report anything that they might see as suspicious.’ Police are currently investigating the crime as a murder, and released no other details in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.
