Two men have been arrested Police in Majorca have arrested two men accused of raping a third holidaymaker they met through gay dating app Grindr. The alleged victim ended up in hospital needing stitches for tear injuries he suffered during the alleged sex attack. The incident that led to the arrests happened at an unnamed hotel in the east coast tourist resort of Cales de Mallorca.
Island newspaper Ultima Hora said he fled the room following the ‘sex attack’ and after realising he was hurt went to a hospital in the nearby town of Manacor. Medics diagnosed a ‘large tear’ and gave him stitches. The suspects, who have not been named, are said to have been released on bail pending an ongoing criminal probe after appearing before a judge on Saturday.
