Two Belfast-based pastry chefs are being recognised for their skill and talent at the Food&Wine Magazine Awards 2022.
With a wide range of award categories for each province, there are six national awards that pin the very best from every corner of both Northern Ireland and the south - with two Belfast talents being named in the top 13 for 'Pastry Chef of the Year'.Daniel Duckett, head chef and owner of Lazy Claire Patissiere in East Belfast said he is "very honoured" to be in the running for the top spot.
When Daniel moved back to Belfast, he began planning for opening the most authentic pâtisserie in Northern Ireland.
