An image of Mace the Great was shown instead of Sage Todz on S4C 's flagship magazine programme, Prynhawn Da.
"We are extremely disappointed about a serious mistake on the Prynhawn Da programme yesterday where another artist's picture was shown instead of the singer Sage Todz," the channel said in a statement.
"We have contacted Sage to apologise profusely for the mistake and have discussed steps with the production company to ensure this doesn't happen again.and we are currently collaborating on a number of projects with him.The programme, which is produced by Tinopolis, issued an apology in a statement released on the official Twitter account on Wednesday.
"We would like to apologise on behalf of Prynhawn Da for a mistake which happened on the programme on Monday," they said. "During a chat on the programme we said that Sage Todz was the subject of one of the pictures on the screen, when in reality it was the artist Mace the Great in the photo. "We apologise to Sage Todz and Mace the Great for the mistake. We're sorry for the bad feeling which has emerged from this."
