He was a man who 'always went the extra mile'
School trust executives have paid tribute to 'much-loved colleague' Ian Coates who has been named as the third victim of the Nottingham attacks. Mr Coates was found fatally stabbed on Madgala Road, Mapperley Park, on Tuesday, June 13.
Ross Middleton, Executive Headteacher of Huntingdon Academy and Warren Academy , said: “Ian was a much-loved colleague who always went the extra mile for the benefit of our children and will be greatly missed. As a school community, it will take time to process this deeply upsetting news."We wish to extend our sympathy and condolences to all those affected by yesterday’s tragic events.
"My thoughts are with his family and friends during this extremely sad time." The Trust and Academy also send their condolences to the families of University of Nottingham students Barnaby and Grace.
