UK weather: Travel warning as heavy rain smashes Britain amid flooding fears as temperatures drop after ‘Indian Summer’
A TRAVEL warning is in place today amid flooding fears as heavy rain is set to smash the UK.
The Met Office have issued three weather warning for the coming week, all in different areas of the country.A yellow weather warning is in place in Northern Ireland, with flooding 'likely'The first alert covers Northern Ireland and warns of "spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer" and of bus and train services being affected.Another yellow warning, this time for wind, has been issued for the South Coast around Brighton and Portsmouth on Tuesday.
This second warning predicts strong gales and heavy rain, casued by an area of low pressure named Storm Claudio.
