Following on from data expert Tim White's advice for holidaymakers below, we also asked him for his predictions on which countries will be added to the red list this week.Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Iraq, Iran and RussiaNot a lot of holiday destinations there - but two popular countries are also on his list:"Morocco's very high numbers may see it go red even though infection numbers have already started to drop," he tells Sky News.

"One of the main data sets which is looked at by the Joint Biosecurity Centre will be the number of people arriving into the UK who are testing positive for COVID-19 from certain destinations."This time the stand-out figure was Morocco where 6% of everyone who returned from there was infected - bear in mind all these people had 'passed' a COVID-19 test to be allowed to fly.

White, who has gained a significant following on Twitter for his daily updates on cases around the world, told Sky News his main advice would be"avoid the Caribbean!" PM Jacinda Ardern says the level 4 national lockdown will run until 27 August - with an additional four days for the city of Auckland. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says those with increased risk of severe illness from COVID should avoid cruise trips even if they are double jabbed.

Visitors are up 40% this year - to 700,000 compared with 500,000 in 2018 - as Britons have flooded beauty spots on these shores. However, a broad idea of the COVID picture in any given country can be gleaned from the two-week infection rate per 100,000 people and how much it is changing.
