The 10p tickets are on sale for some routes in the Merseyside region
More than 100,000 train tickets are on sale today across the north west including tickets to and from Lime Street Station.
The Northern Rail ticket sale launched on Monday, with one million tickets cut in price to 50p, three million priced at £1 and a further one million tickets for £1.50. This included routes between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington. Now, Northern has released an extra 100,000 tickets as part of its flash sale –for 10p. The sale closes at 6pm tonight, September 7. Tickets are valid for travel between Monday, September 11 and Friday, October 20.Mark Powles, commercial and customer director at Northern, said: “The 100,000 extra tickets we’ve released this morning will ensure this Flash Sale goes out with a bang.
