A little boy named Bobby tragically lost his life after being hit by a van while running out into the road. His devastated mother describes the incident as a blur and struggles with the anniversary of his death.
A little boy who was described as "funny and cheeky" by his adoring family went to school and didn't come home.
He suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Speaking on the nine year anniversary of Bobby's death, Joanne described the time as being difficult. She said: "This year was nine years of life without him. It's like time stands still, it's crazy - and even though the boys are growing up it's like he was here yesterday.
Following her son's death The Colleran family set up the Bobby Colleran Trust to campaign for better road safety across the city. Joanne added her three sons, Harry, Frankie and Georgie, are a huge part of the charity especially now they're a little bit older.
