Glasgow Fort travel warning ahead of popular fireworks event.
The Glasgow North East Fireworks Festival will be held this Sunday and is hosted by the Easterhouse shopping centre.
Ahead of what is expected to be a very busy day, the centre has warned visitors that the car parks will be busy and is encouraging people to walk or use public transport. Visitors can park at Glasgow Club Easterhouse, The Lochs Shopping Centre and Platform, and the art centre on Westerhouse Road - all of which are within walking distance."If you are travelling by car, please be aware that the car parks are likely to be busy, so allow for additional time to travel and consider parking at the other designated festival car parks."The free event runs from 11am to 10pm, with the fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.
