Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy inserted buy-back clause into Harry Kane's Bayern Munich contract.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has revealed the club have a buy-back clause to re-sign Harry Kane after he joined Bayern Munich this summer.
Meanwhile, Levy has since added fuel to speculation that he could return after he confirmed that he had inserted a buy-back clause into the striker's contract at Bayern.Speaking at a fan forum on Tuesday, alongside manager Ange Postecoglou, new captain Heung-min Son, women’s head coach Robert Vilahamn and Lioness Bethany England, Levy claimed : “There is a buy-back clause," refusing to elaborate on the situation further.
"I’m really happy to see the team playing the way they are and to see the fans happy is a great thing. They’ve got a massive game coming up [Arsenal on Sunday] so, for sure, I’ll see how they get on over the course of the season."In a statement confirming Kane's Tottenham departure, Levy also had some parting words for the striker.
