Tony Parsons was hit by drink-driver Alexander McKellar who buried his body with the help of his twin brother in 2017.

The police watchdog is investigating the force's handling of a probe into a cyclist killed by a drink-driver.

The Police Investigations & Review Commissioner confirmed the Crown Office had instructed it to investigate "allegations of criminality" in relation to a complaint against the police made by Alexander McKellar's former girlfriend.A Pirc spokesperson added: "As this is a live investigation, we are unable to provide further comment.
