For some, it will also mean a takeaway as they make the most of the chance to relax by skipping cooking. With so many options in Nottinghamshire, it can be hard to know what to order. Not only is it difficult to narrow down and agree on the choice of cuisine, there is then the task of picking which particular takeaway to order from.We asked you to name the best kebab shop in Nottinghamshire last weekend and the response was phenomenal. It is clear there are many takeaways serving up some delicious food.
We have now drawn up a shortlist of the top five. We will take the results of this shortlist poll to crown the county's best kebab shop. The shortlist is: Ash Grill, Bestwood Fisheries, Bridgford Fish Bar, Caspian and Oasis.
