Tiktoker 'Big Nibbles', who has gained a large following with his series of videos where he makes the 'official' sandwiches of UK towns and cities, recently turned his attention to Nottingham
The 'official sandwich of Nottingham' has been criticised and praised after a popular content creator made a video on it. .
The account usually cracks jokes at the expense of the towns and cities featured in the videos, with our city being no different. While piling rashers of bacon onto bread and then dosing it in HP sauce, he said: "I once heard someone refer to this place as Knifingham and that's not surprising as it used to have the worst slums in the British Empire.
"If you find yourself stuck in this landlocked city at least you have easy access to illicit substances - they hide it all in the HP sauce."Some commenters said they had been waiting for the account to cover Nottingham, while others disagreed about the quality of the sarnie served up at the end of the short video.
One user commented "I would feel sorry for this city having such a substandard sandwich, but again, it's Nottingham, so that's probably the least of its problems.
