Sean Wallace has been jailed for 30 months following the horrific attack in Burnley
A violent thug put on a pair of black leather gloves before repeatedly strangling his partner, a court heard.
"His eyes were wide open and he was saying he was going to kill me", the woman told police. At 7.45pm the woman's cousin returned to the house with his partner. Wallace was still outside the house. Catherine Ellis, defending, said Wallace did not know his partner was pregnant at the time he assaulted her. He has a "complicated history" compounded by a brain injury and has had a life of homelessness, drinking and taking drugs. While on remand, however, he has realised he needs to change and is working to help other people.
