The snakes were boa constrictors which are typically found in tropical Central and South America and are known to be powerful hunters with distinctive markings on their bodies.
Three snakes have been found dead near a loch in Scotland.
The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said the boa constrictors were discovered by a member of the public. They were found next to bags of rubbish at a flying-tip spot and were lying close together, the charity said., but the circumstances they were found in are very concerning," the Scottish SPCA added.The snakes were discovered near Carbeth Loch in Blanefield,
