The Premier League's summer transfer window slams shut in a matter of hours with Man United still hoping to offload a number of players
Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund have all walked through the doors at Old Trafford, but with the club operating with Financial Fair Play concerns, other business has proven a little harder to get over the line. The club had hoped to raise more money for the transfer kitty with a number of departures, with Anthony Elanga, Dean Henderson, Fred, Alex Telles, Zidane Iqbal, Noam Emeran and Matej Kovar the only players leaving for fees so far.
Bailly has been linked with reuniting with former United teammates Ronaldo and Telles at Al-Nassr in recent weeks and a move could suit him perfectly. The transfer window will soon close and although United got their hands on three players well in advance of the September 1 deadline, with Rasmus Hojlund joining Mason Mount and Andre Onana at Old Trafford, activity has stalled since Hojlund's announcement.
Maguire was stripped of the United captaincy this summer, with left-back Luke Shaw also featuring ahead of him at centre-back at times last season as he made just eight starts in the league last term. The England international could have joined West Ham this summer but the move collapsed, with reports suggesting it was due to United being able to negotiate a reasonable pay-off with his representatives after he agreed to a pay cut with the Hammers.
