One was airlifted to Alder Hey in a serious condition
Emergency services are on the scene following the incident on Garstang Road, between Barton and Bilsborrow. The road is closed after Owd Nells going south which will cause delays on the A6.
Two girls and a boy were rushed to hospital following a crash between a van and a bus. One girl was also airlifted from the scene to Alder Hey hospital and remains in s serious condition.A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service confirmed: "We have taken three children to hospital . One girl was airlifted to Alder Hey in a serious condition. It follows an RTC involving a van and a bus.
The North West Air Ambulance Service confirmed they had been in attendance. A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the North West Air Ambulance Charity was called to an incident in Preston on Tuesday 15th August, H08 and H72 responded." The crash was reported shortly before 1.30pm and the road is still closed in both directions. Lancashire Constabulary has been contacted for an updated comment.
At they time they said: "We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on Garstang Road, Barton, Preston. The road is closed just after Owd Nells going south which will cause delays on the A6. Please avoid the area, as it will be closed for the foreseeable."
