Three children are in hospital after a crash in Barton during Tuesday lunchtime.
The A6, Garstang Road, has been shut just south of Owd Nells after a van collided with three children – all pedestrians.Heritage Open Days in Preston 2023: what’s on and when The crash took place at 1.15pm and a 59-year-old man from Nateby, near Garstang, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody.
Police say all three children have been taken to hospital with one described as in a ‘critical but stable condition’.
