Emergency services were called to Lindisfarne Street in the city just before 10.15pm on August 24
. Now, following a joint investigation, a man and a woman, both in their 20s and another man in his 40s, all from Carlisle have been arrested on suspicion of arson.
All three have since been released on police bail. Police say the are still appealing for anyone with information about the fire to come forward.In particular, they want to hear form anyone with CCTV, dashcam and or/video doorbell footage. A spokesperson for the force said: "Three people have been arrested as part of a joint investigation into a house fire on Lindisfarne Street in Carlisle.
"The investigation is ongoing and officers are still appealing for information regarding this incident. "Officers would ask anyone in the area with CCTV, dashcam and/or video doorbells to check their footage."
