UK news: Thousands raised for family of 'beautiful' woman, 20, killed in block of flats hours before Christmas
A community has pulled together to raise thousands of pounds for the devastated family of a woman who was killed just hours before Christmas.
Ms Boorne was taken to hospital but despite best efforts, she died. Since her death a murder investigation has been launched and on Christmas Day, Merseyside Police confirmed that a man has been charged with the murder of the young woman. Liam Cain, 19, of Skipton Road, Anfield, has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court on Wednesday, December 28, reports Liverpool Echo.
