Callum Littlejohn, General Manager of The Left Bank, received a call from the alarm company at 5am in the morning after the Gibson Street eatery was broken in to.
A restaurant in Glasgow's west end had its door smashed in and the till stolen in the early hours of this morning.
It appeared as though a brick was used to shatter the glass on the front door and that the empty till had been stolen. "He ripped the empty till from its wiring and went back through the hole in the door. We're an independent business so we were concerned that they'd taken stock. "It happened to us a year or two ago. So when I received the call I was thinking 'here we go again'. I was dreading to find out what had happened last night. Even though this isn't my home I spend a lot of time here."It isn't nice to know that someone has come in to our restaurant and taken something from us."
