It seems Polaris, CD Projekt's codename for the first game of a new Witcher saga, will arrive before The Witcher Remake.
of CD Projekt's financial results conference for Q3 2022, president and joint CEO Adam Kiciński answered a question about the timeline for CD Projekt's future Witcher games."As for the remake, and when it will come out — it will come after Polaris, which is a consequence of how we view this project," Kiciński says.
Before that, Kiciński answered a question about Project Sirius, the codename for a game set in the Witcher universe which sounds as though it will be an entirely different affair, and which will offer both a single-player and multiplayer experience. Talking about Sirius, Kiciński says,"we are not guiding on this game when it comes to its size or what type of game it is; we only stated that it would be accessible to a broader audience.
