The last thing Humza Yousaf needs is another controversy on the legacy of his predecessor Nicola Sturgeon.
He has also had to waste political capital on rewriting half-baked policies from the Sturgeon era such as on fisheries. But other purchases will stick in the throat of taxpayers, particularly when they are being warned of ‘tough choices’ and belt tightening.
