If you are keen for a Scottish island staycation this autumn, one 'remarkable' hotel on the Isle of Skye can currently be booked for 45 per cent off its standard price.
As we enter October, more and more Scots will be looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and run off to a rural hotel or B&B.
Currently, an overnight stay for two can be booked for £79 through Wowcher, which is 45 per cent off the standard price of £144. For an additional £30, you can also get access to a £40 food and drink voucher at the hotel's Torridon View Restaurant, and if you want to spend longer in Skye, you can even book a two-night stay for £179.
Looking at travel website Tripadvisor, The Dunollie Hotel has an average rating of three out of five based on 1,078 reviews. A second echoed: "After a 770 mile drive, a stay at the Dunollie hotel was more than welcome. Lots of parking space, lovely views, nice hotel, delicious food, local drink available and kind, helpful staff.
