Fuelling a long running conspiracy theory, The Simpsons has ‘predicted the future’ again, with Donald Trump running for President in 2024.
During the episode, titled Bart To The Future, Lisa Simpson is shown as president telling her advisors: ‘As you know we’ve inherited quite a budget cut from President Trump’.Former President Trump confirmed on Tuesday he would officially mount a third campaign for the White House.
He said: ‘In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.’ Trump, wearing a red tie, walked into a packed room at his resort in Palm Beach, Florida, with ‘God Bless the USA’ playing in the background. The crowd chanted ‘USA!’ as he went up to a podium with signage reading, ‘Trump: Make America Great Again! 2024.’
