People are being urged by medical experts to be aware of seven symptoms of a difficult to treat disease that has a "scary bad" mortality rate.
Survival rates from the condition are also poor, with just 25 per cent of people surviving the condition for a year or more - and only five per cent go on for 10 years or more following their diagnosis.
