It was last night confirmed that Rangers would be playing Europa League football this season.
Wednesday night's defeat meant Rangers dropped into UEFA's secondary competition, while the Eredivisie outfit progressed to the Champions League group stage. If both teams win tonight, then Rangers will go into Pot 2. However, if either of these sides lose this evening, then Rangers will be in Pot 1, as per UEFA's club coefficient ranking.
