Garden centres have grown from simply selling plants and flowers to practically offering a day out for customers. With onsite cafes, DIY equipment warehouses, furniture showrooms, children's play areas and creating elaborate festive wonderlands in the run-up to Christmas.
The small family-run business, which has been running for more than 40 years, invites customers to explore their colourful display of weird and wonderful art sculptures. The stone artefacts have been designed by Kevin Duffy, who runs the nursery with his son, Carl. Kevin, who is a self-taught 'outsider artist' builds and re-purposes them using recycled and up-cycled materials. He began crafting the bizarrely brilliant sculptures following the death is his wife Pat.
