I am opting to ignore the opinions of those who are so concerned with my son’s bond with his non-existent sibling — and choosing myself.
But going through another pregnancy and having another child is, how do you say, kind of a big deal! It’s not something into which anyone should ever feel pressured, guilted or coerced.
It is not something that I or any other person should feel obliged to do for the sake of our children’sHaving already done this once already, I feel qualified to say that growing, housing and birthing a person is the most mind-bending and life-changing experience we can ever go through as humans, and we deserve to wait until we feel ready before embarking on such an endeavour.
And so I am choosing to ignore the suggested posts currently clogging up my Instagram feed, as well as the opinions of those who are apparently so concerned with my son’s bond with his as yet non-existent sibling — and instead choosing myself.
