Cases are rising in Scotland.
The NHS in Scotland has confirmed a cluster of outbreaks of Strep A in a number of schools near Glasgow.
How many cases of Strep A are there in Scotland? The data published today show that Public Health Scotland has received reports of 25 Invasive Group A Streptococcal in November 2022. As reported earlier this week, there has been 430 cases of Strep A reported across Scotland of all age groups. The 25 added on to this totals that 455 cases have been reported so far.
