Fine dining restaurant are by their very nature on the more expensive scale when it comes to eating out. You're paying for the highest quality and locally-sourced ingredients cooked by some of the best in the business.

Aven Restaurant in Preston, which was recently rebranded from 263, is keen to appeal to a "broader range of diners" and with this make fine dining more "approachable and enjoyable for all". The new evening menu, which has been curated by chefs and restaurant owners Oli Martin and Sean Wrest, is priced at £60.Aven holds three AA Rosettes and is also in the Michelin Guide.

He most recently guided Roots in York to a Michelin Star in 2021. While Lytham-born Oli is the chef director who has also previously made the final of MasterChef: The Professionals.
