season 5, and who will be playing the late-Princess of Wales herself – but Netflix have already given us our next juicy breadcrumb: pictures of Elizabeth Debicki – who has taken over the role of the Princess for the fifth and sixth season from Emma Corrin, who played the Royal when she was younger – on set of the hitwhich chronicles the life of the British royals throughout the generations, shows Elizabeth dressed as Diana, in sunglasses, striped trousers and an oversized navy blazer with gold...
The photos were taken in Croydon and show Elizabeth jumping into a taxi as the press follow her – a scene that often played out in Diana's own life, as she was famously hounded by the tabloids. The photos come after news of who will play the role of Dodi Fayed, plus the surgeon dubbed ‘the love of [Diana’s] life'.
Humayun Saeed will be playing Dr. Hasmat Ahmad Khan, the British-Pakistani heart surgeon who once dating Princess Diana. Khan dated the princess between 1995 and 1997 – and was referred to as “the love of [Diana's] life” by several of her close friends, following her death. Yet the pair broke up in 1997, when Princess Diana met Dodi Fayed on holiday, and left Khan for him.Saeed is an award-winning actor of Pakistani descent, who won the ARY Film Award for Best Actor in 2016.
